Benaroya Research Institute Seafair Triathlon Expo

Meet the Seattle Sounders and Sea Gals at the BRI booth! Sponsors will also be on-site showcasing their products and services with free samples, prizes and more. Participants will pick up their race day packets at this event.
Benaroya Research Institute Seafair Triathlon

Athletes from all around the Pacific Northwest are swimming, cycling and running their way to fitness and athletic excellence in preparation for the Benaroya Research Institute Seafair Triathlon. Seward Park on Lake Washington served as a pristine venue for this triathlon and offered an incredible experience for athletes of all ability levels.
Olympic Challenge Course: 1-mile swim, 20-mile bike, 10K run.
Sprint Course: .5-mile swim, 12-mile bike, 5K run.
Relay Teams: 2-person and 3-person.
All participants will receive a Brooks podium technical race shirt and a finishers medal.
Minimum age for participation in the adult triathlon is 13.

Kids can “tri”, too, on a fun, custom-designed course just for them!
Kids Beginner Course: 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike, .2 mile run.
Kids Intermediate Course: 100 yard swim, 2 mile bike, .5 mile run.
All participants will receive a race t-shirt and a finishers medal.
Minimum age for participation in the kids triathlon is 6.

Jubilee Days is a weeklong festival celebrating the rich diversity of the White Center community. Wed. is the start of the five-day carnival and larger than life fireworks show. On Sat., July 21 the festival launches into high gear with its 3rd annual Car Show ’n’ Shine, and the start of the two-day street fair featuring a unique variety of craft, farmer and more than 50 international food vendors, a Kids Center and family-oriented entertainment. Indulge in refreshments while enjoying the bands on the main stage, and then groove the night away at the street dance Sat. night. Sun. begins with the annual parade, continues with the second day of the street fair and closes out with headliner music.

The Kla Ha Ya Days Festival is celebrating it's 99th anniversary in 2012. Kla Ha Ya Days is the official community celebration for the historic City of Snohomish. More than 30,000 guests comeout during the five day festival. On Sat. the River Run and Parade kick off the weekend events with the famous Kiwanis Salmon BBQ feeding the crowds at Hill Park throughout the weekend. The Street Fair attracts over 100 arts, crafts & commercial vendors. Following the parade are the classic silly contests such as the renowned Frog Jumping contest, a real crowd favorite, as well as bed races, firefighters waterball, pie eating, cherry pit spitting , sawdust treasure hunt and ice cream and watermelon eating. Through out the weekend there are skydiving and helicopter demonstrations at Harvey Field and on Sun. at Harvey Field the Classic Car Show is held with over 200 classic cars from around the Northwest and even Canada.

Come celebrate the sights, sounds and dancing for out 80th Seattle Bon Odori celebration! Bon Odori is a centuries old Japanese Buddhist festival that celebrates and honors the lives of deceased family and friends. We consider this a happy time as we remember the contributions of those who came before us with a deep sense of gratitude and thanksgiving. All are welcome to join in the dancing!

The annual Waterland Parade is back with full force and Seafair Sanctioned. The route travels through the heart of Des Moines. Before the parade, you have the opportunity to view some classic cars and boats at the 6th Annual Des Moines Classic Car & Wooden Boat Show.
ChinaTown Seafair Parade - A Seafair Sanctioned Community Event

The parade will feature colorful and traditional Asian community parade with over 60 units of drill teams, lion dancers, bands, floats, and the 100 feet dragon. There are numerous restaurants that line the parade route offering tasty Asian cuisine for families before or after the parade.
