The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Return
After awarding Seafair as the "Air Show of the Year" in 2006, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels return to the skies above Lake Washington, July 31-Aug. 2. The precision and creativity of the six pilots behind the yokes of the Boeing F/A-18 Hornets make the group one of the most recognized in the sky. Graceful solo performances, the four-plane diamond and six-plane delta formations are just a few of the aerobatic maneuvers these talented pilots perform. Flying every year since 1972, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels continue to serve as positive role models and goodwill ambassadors for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
